Defensive Driving
We know the importance of having the proper training when faced with unforeseen circumstances; this is why we instill the defensive driving techniques in our courses to ensure that you have the confidence and ability to take on all types of conditions in any type of weather.

Course 1

Classroom & On Road Training

Our paperless classroom consists of a brand new computer system called an Endpoint System. It is individual work stations for each student, connected to the Main Server. They are able to follow along with the instructors curriculum and also provides direct contact between student and instructor via instant messaging (for students questions). All quizzes and final exam are performed digitally (Verbal testing Available).

Our classroom style of teaching covers all types of Multisensory Learning Styles: Auditory, Visual, and Kinaesthetic.

The course consists of 25 hours of theory. Evening classes are offered throughout the year with new classes beginning monthly, they are held every Monday and Wednesday for a period of 4 weeks. We also offer daytime classes which take place for 4 consecutive days during the summer (July & August) as well as during the March Break and Christmas Vacation. Each student will also use our Virtual Drivers Interactive Simulator during their class time. With this tool they will safely experience the dangerous situations of driving: impaired, distracted (e.g. texting), in snowstorms and in heavy fog as well as animal avoidance.

Once the theory exam is completed, and the student has received their Class 7-1 (learner's license) he or she may then proceed to the on-road training.

The On Road Training consists of 10.5 hours of personal in-car instruction. Pick up at home, school or work, within Dieppe, Moncton and Riverview city limits. Our vehicles are used for the final road tests.

Students will learn:

  • Rules of the road
  • Vehicle handling
  • Defensive driving techniques
  • Emergency maneuvers
  • Highway and rural driving
  • City driving strategies
  • Night and distracted driving

Students will receive:

  • 10.5 hours of personal in-car instruction
  • DMV Road Test when eligible and ready
  • Government Issued Certificate (for Full Insurance Discount)

Prices:

  • $700 +tax
  • Additional On Road sessions may be purchased at $65/hour +tax
Course 2

Online & On Road Training

We offer the Only Bilingual E-learning program approved by the government of New Brunswick. The program allows busy students more flexibility with 24/7 access to the course.

Students must, also, complete a five-hour in class session which includes:

  • Review of the Online Course
  • Laws of Physics
  • Digital exam* to prepare you for written test (DMV)
* Verbal testing available

Course 3

On Road Training & Road Test

For those wanting to review defensive driving techniques and/or prepare for a road test.

For those wanting an evaluation prior to their road test, we offer a 2 hour on road training course. During the first session (1hr) of instruction the instructor will assess the students abilities behind the wheel which will include: the rules of the road, parallel parking, proper turns etc. If successfully completed the second session (1hr) followed by road test with the use of our company vehicle.

Note: The student must have the Class 7-1 permit (learner's license) to take this course.

This package DOES NOT qualify for a Government Issued Certificate for Full Insurance Discount.

Course 4

New Brunswick Class 2 & 4 Vehicle Pre-trip Specialist

What we will do for you and your employees. This course includes classroom theory, performing a pre-trip and an on road training session to prepare for road test (course approx. 4 hours in duration).

Your driving instructor for this course is Maurice Durepos. He is bilingual and has 14 years experience as a certified driver examiner. He has done examinations on regular vehicles and commercial vehicles including class 2 and class 4.

We will explain to your employees:

  • How does one obtain a class 2 & 4 drivers license
  • What is the difference between a class 2 & class 4 drivers license
  • The purpose of a class 2 & class 4 pre-trip
  • Why are pre-trips done
  • The best and safest ways of conducting a pre-trip
  • When & How to do pre-trips
  • What are the driving differences involved in the road test compared to a regular drivers license
  • Answer all questions pertaining to pre-trips
  • We will conduct pre-trips with each student
  • On road training session to prepare for road test

Courses & Training Availability

Course 1 (Classroom)

  • Evening Classes (4 weeks)
    Take place Monday and Wednesday from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
  • Day Classes (4 days in a row)
    Are offered during the Summer, March Break and Christmas Vacation from 9:00am to 3:30pm.

Course 2 (Online)

  • In class sessions (5 hours)
    Take place on Saturdays from 9:45 am to 2:45 pm.

On Road Training

We book driving sessions to fit your schedule daily.

  • Monday to Thursday: 9 am to 9 pm
  • Friday to Sunday: 9 am to 5 pm
