In-class course
Our Saturday classes are offered throughout the year with new classes beginning monthly, they are on 3 consecutive Saturdays from 9am-3pm and include a final test.
Daytime course
Our daytime course consists of 3 days from 9am to 3pm of in class theory training, which includes a final test. Classes are offered during the summer months (July & August) as well as during March Break and Christmas Break.
Online course
Our online courses include a theory to be worked online from home followed by a virtual class with a final test. There are 13 lessons followed by 13 quizzes that must be completed online before attending the virtual course which takes place on a Tuesday evening starting at 6:00 pm.
The final passing mark for our final theory test is 75%. If you do not pass the test on your first attempt, it may be re-written at a later date at no extra charge.
IMPORTANT information before scheduling your on road training:
The students must have their beginners license with them for the on road training. In the instance that they do not, the driving instructor will be obligated to cancel and reschedule the on-road session as it is against the law to drive without a license and a no show fee will apply. The duration of one session is 60 minutes. Courses 1 and 2 include 10.5 hours of on-road training with the last 30 minutes allotted for the road test (with our driving school vehicle). An examiner from Service New Brunswick will evaluate the student.
Course expires 12 months from the original theory class date of registration.
Please note that the course fee is non refundable.
In the event that the students cannot attend their scheduled in-class session, they must advise the Dieppe Driving School office 48 hours prior to the session. Due to limited seating available for the in-class sessions if the student should fail to notify the Dieppe Driving School office of his/her cancellation or does not show up for his/her scheduled in-class session, a cancellation fee of $40 will be requested since this time was reserved for this student. There is always a wait list for the in-class sessions.
In the event that the students cannot keep their scheduled on-road session, they must advise the instructor or Dieppe Driving School office 24-48 hours prior to the session. Any change to a scheduled on-road session or meeting location (pick up or drop off) must be arranged 24-48 hours prior to the scheduled on-road session. Request to change an on-road session with less than 24 hours notice cannot be guaranteed, however we will do our utmost effort to accommodate your request.
If the student should fail to notify the driving instructor or Dieppe Driving School office of his/her cancellation or does not show up for his/her scheduled session, a cancellation fee of $45 will be requested since this time was reserved for this student. It is the driving instructor's responsibility to remain at the meeting location for 15 minutes after the scheduled session time after which the on-road session will be considered a No Show. This missed session may result in having the student’s road test delayed.
The students will receive a reminder by both email and text message 48 hours prior to their on-road session. If the students are not able to keep the scheduled session, they may request a later date depending on the driving instructor’s availability.
The student or the driving instructor may cancel or re-schedule an on-road session due to illness, personal emergency, weather or road conditions, unexpected mechanical issues with the drivers ed vehicle or as well being delayed by a final road test. Any classroom or on-road training session that needs to be cancelled due to weather conditions (i.e. snow storms, freezing rain etc.) will be posted on our Facebook page.
Additional on-road sessions in order to improve the student’s defensive driving skills are available at a fee of $80/hour.
